Germany and Italy. The VIN plate is usually silver or black and
is found on the curb side halfway up the frame from bottom to
underside of cab.

VIN plate location:
on some models the VIN plate will be on left
(highway) side of machine under operator’s cab. On models made
in France it will be on the right side at the same location. VIN plates
on the right side will have the full VIN stamped close plate.
